Founder- Lyssa Anderton

Welcome to Eternal Sunsets. My name is Lyssa Anderton, and I founded this business from a deeply personal experience.

When my Noni became ill and entered hospice care, I had the honor of caring for her during her final days. She was warm, funny, and endlessly loving, the kind of person who made everyone feel like family. Planning her celebration of life became a way to honor who she truly was and the life she lived with so much heart.

That experience led me to begin volunteering in hospice, where I discovered a true calling. Being present with patients and their families, listening to their stories, and witnessing the love they shared gave me a deep sense of purpose. I felt privileged to walk alongside them and help create space for remembrance and connection.

In addition to my work with families, I have experience supporting seniors and elderly individuals in their day to day lives. I have a deep passion for quality of life, and I regularly spend time in nursing homes creating intentional, engaging activities that help residents feel seen, valued, and connected.

Through these experiences, I have come to understand how important it is to celebrate a life in a way that feels personal and meaningful. That understanding inspired me to create Eternal Sunsets, where I help families plan thoughtful, intentional celebrations of life that reflect the person being honored.

I am a certified death doula through NELDA and currently studying psychology, with plans to continue my education in areas such as thanatology or gerontology. This background allows me to support families with both care and understanding during deeply emotional and meaningful moments.

Creating space to honor my Noni’s life helped me navigate my own grief. I believe deeply in the power of storytelling, remembrance, and shared connection.

At Eternal Sunsets, I am committed to making these moments as comforting and memorable as possible. We proudly serve individuals and families of all backgrounds, beliefs, and walks of life, creating inclusive, compassionate spaces where every story is honored with love, grace, and dignity. Because just as every sunset tells a story, every life holds one worth remembering.
